Volvo EX60: First info on the electric equivalent of the XC60
Electric version of the XC60
Volvo is preparing to launch the electric version of its XC60. The new model will be called the EX60 and will be based on the same platform as the Polestar 3.
The EX60 will be available in both single-motor and dual-motor configurations. The single-motor version will have 402 horsepower and 487 pound-feet of torque, while the dual-motor version will have 455 horsepower and 523 pound-feet of torque.
The EX60 will have a range of up to 400 kilometers (249 miles) on a single charge.
Design
The EX60 will have a similar design to the XC60, but there will be some key differences. The EX60 will have a closed-off grille, new headlights, and a new rear bumper.
The EX60 will also be slightly larger than the XC60. It will be 4,900 millimeters (193 inches) long, 1,920 millimeters (76 inches) wide, and 1,650 millimeters (65 inches) tall.
Interior
The EX60 will have a spacious and luxurious interior. It will come standard with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a head-up display.
The EX60 will also be available with a variety of premium features, such as a panoramic sunroof, heated and cooled seats, and a premium sound system.
Price and availability
The EX60 is expected to go on sale in late 2023. Pricing has not yet been announced.
