Julie Bowen on 'Happy Gilmore 2,' the hilarious side of parenting teens
'Grown-ish' star Julie Bowen is set to reprise her role as Virginia Venit in the upcoming sequel to the 1996 comedy 'Happy Gilmore.'
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Bowen said she was "so excited" to be returning to the role, and that she thought the sequel would be "really funny." She added that she was particularly looking forward to working with Adam Sandler again. "He's such a funny guy, and he's so great to work with," she said. "I think we're going to have a lot of fun making this movie."
Bowen also talked about the challenges of parenting teenagers, saying that it can be "really tough" at times. But she added that it's also "really rewarding," and that she wouldn't trade it for anything. "It's just so much fun to watch them grow and change," she said. "And it's so great to be able to be there for them every step of the way."
Bowen's comments come as the release date for 'Happy Gilmore 2' approaches. The film is set to hit theaters on July 12, 2023.
