It's not all that long ago that Hansi Flick was running the sports shop he owns in the small German town of Bammental.

He soon swapped selling trophies for lifting them, first as assistant coach to Niko Kovac at Bayern, then, after Kovac was sacked in November 2019, as interim boss.

Flick won an incredible 70 of his 86 matches with his team giving him a win rate of 81 per cent - a record for a Bayern coach in professional football.

During his tenure Bayern lost just seven games and won seven trophies, including the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and Champions League.
